SCHEDULING HORSE TIME

We offer weekly private riding lessons to give horse and rider an opportunity to get to know one another!

Our resident therapist James Hart provides individual equine assisted therapy opportunities for adults and young people.

HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS

We utilize natural horsemanship training and instruction to connect to the heart of these gentle giants.  Our priority is safe, friendly connections and are well suited toward beginner riders.  We use western tack and have a small arena, round pen, pasture and lovely river trail.  We are presently limited to light to moderate riding and riders under 150lbs.

COME JOIN OUR HERD

We have a wonderful instructor who will be teaching natural horsemanship skills to connect horses and humans in safe and peaceful relating.  We welcome riders of all ages!

Children's horseback riding benefits many skills including:

- emotional regulation,

- nervous system relaxation,

- healthy outdoor activity

- focused mind/body coordination and core strength

One of our biggest passions at Hart Farm is connecting children and nature, especially horses! Establishing loving relationships as children keeps a special place in people's hearts as they grow into adults with the hope that horses will continue to have caregivers in years to come.

Adult riders of all skill levels are welcome as well!

Horseback riding for adults is a great combination activity. It challenges people in the following ways:

- Building core strength (especially postpartum healing, pelvic floor rehabilitation and hernia prevention and treatment support)

- Mind/body connectedness. Working with horses (on the ground or in the saddle) challenges us in unique ways. Encountering our fears, confidence, rigidity, softness and more.

- Energy awareness - horses feel everything! They respond to our posture, our thought patterns and more... They speak to our hearts and offer so much.

- Liberation - as it has been said,

"there is no ailment that cantering on a horse cannot cure!"
